The McComm Group wins ADDYs

The McComm Group was recognized at the 2016 ADDY Award celebration presented by the American Advertising Federation – North Alabama chapter. The full-service marketing firm received top honors for its work in three distinct areas: brand development, web site design, and special event invitation design.

The River Clay Fine Arts Festival integrated brand identity campaign captured a Gold ADDY. The elements of this comprehensive campaign included logo design, web site design, print advertising, event signage, poster, invitation, and event program.

A unique engraved acrylic invitation and its packaging created for Aviagen, the world’s largest broiler breeder company, was designed to invite customers to the 2016 Ryder Cup. The design and implementation earned a Gold ADDY.

In the category of microsites – a supplemental web site that promotes a larger site – the McComm Group also earned a Gold ADDY. The agency designed the site for the Decatur Downtown Redevelopment Authority as a part of a campaign to promote the restaurants in the downtown area. The microsite is an ideal tool for mobile phones. It lists the restaurants along with a Google map and includes easy access to the online resources of each one so customers can decide en route where to dine downtown and how to get there.
